El Comalito is an authentic Salvadoran pupuseria with locations in Gaithersburg, Takoma Park, Silver Spring and Riverdale Park, Maryland. Founded by a husband and wife team in 2005, El Comalito is now a staple of the Salvadoran diaspora in Maryland and the D.C. metropolitan area. Our mission is to provide delicious, fresh, homestyle dishes that connect our customers to our rich Salvadoran culture. Our artisanal process of cooking is the same process passed down from generation to generation.
